Forum

English Summary

What is the Forum Jeunesse Estrie?

One of 21 regional youth forums in Quebec, the Forum Jeunesse Estrie is a team of individual youth and local organizations working to help advance youth initiatives in the Estrie region.  These initiatives not only encourage the integration of youth, but also improve their quality of life and help them to reach their full potential.

The Forum Jeunesse Estrie also acts as a regional springboard for youth to express themselves, by encouraging the coordination and mobilization of young people with partners, playing an advisory role in terms of youth issues and supporting initiatives created both by and for youth.

The young people and organizations that are members of the Forum Jeunesse Estrie have the development of both youth and the administrative region of the Estrie as their primary concern.  By means of the Forum, members can help the voices of local youth be heard, both at the regional and national levels.

Composition of the Board of Directors

The Forum Jeunesse Estrie is composed of seventeen youth, aged 15 to 35, and members come from all of the different territories in the Estrie, as well as from various sectors of activity.  The seventeen seats on the Board of Directors are divided as follows: nine individual members and eight members from various sectors of activity.
